About Our Children's Ministry

Sunday School:  The Sunday School is the basic Bible teaching program of the Children's Ministry. Through Sunday School, children learn more about Christian conversion and church membership, Christian values and beliefs, Christian living, discipleship, stewardship, and serving others.

Children's Safety: Because Bayside Baptist is concerned about the safety of your child, all children's leaders and workers are screened with two reference checks, a criminal history check, and a sex offender check.

Our Goals: The Children's Ministry is designed to meet a variety of needs for children in grades 1-5.  Children are provided with opportunities for Bible Study, training in Baptist beliefs, music, and mission education. The family is ministered to through social activities and parenting programs.

Church Programs: Bayside's children can participate in a full slate of programs including Sunday School, Upward Basketball & Cheerleading, TeamKid, Vacation Bible School (VBS), and Children's Worship.

Educational & Recreational Events: Children are also given the opportunity to attend educational and recreational events such as pool parties, skating parties, Easter "Egg"stravaganza, Fall Festival, Christmas musicals and lots more. These activities are offered throughout the year for children and their families.

Children are cordially invited to join us each Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. in Room 203.
