About Us

The Music Ministry at Bayside provides opportunities for celebration and outreach.  All musical presentations are joyous expressions of the celebration of our faith and are designed to glorify God through both contemporary and traditional music. 

During rehearsal times, choir members develop strong bonds of friendship and share special fellowship as they use their talents in preparation for witnessing and worshipping through the medium of music.  New choir members are always welcome to help us carry out this important ministry.

   Our Schedule

You are cordially invited to join us as we sing praises to God and worship through music each Sunday.

Sunday:

8:30 a.m. - Worship Choir
11:00 a.m. - Praise Choir

Wednesday:

7:00 p.m. -  Praise Band Rehearsal
7:00 p.m. -  Praise Choir Rehearsal
7:00 p.m. -  Worship Choir Rehearsal
7:30 p.m. -  Celebration Choir Rehearsal

Scriptures

All music at Bayside Baptist Church is intended to glorify and praise God.

Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.(John 4:23 NIV)

"Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord, always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 5:19)

 

Choir Groups

Worship Choir:

The Worship Choir, also consisting of young middle-aged, and senior adults, sings at the 8:30 worship service each Sunday.   New choir members are always welcome to help carry out this important ministry. The Adult Choir rehearses each Wednesday at 7:00 pm

Praise Choir:

The Praise Choir, consisting of young, middle-aged, and senior adults, sings at the 11:00 a.m. service each Sunday.  New choir members are always welcome.  The Praise Choir rehearses each Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Praise Band The Praise Band is an auditioned group of instrumentalists which play at the 11:00 service as well as other special occasions and services.

The Master's Men:

The Master's Men is a group of adult men who use their musical talent for God's glory. They sing traditional and southern gospel music.  They rehearse on an as needed basis and sing at the 8:30 service.

Men of Praise:

The Men Of Praise sings a variety of music and is made up of Men all ages.  They rehearse on an as needed basis and sings for the 8:30 and 11:00 services.

Women's Choir:

The Women's Choir sings a variety of music and is made up of Ladies all ages.  They rehearse on an as needed basis and sings for the 8:30 and 11:00 services.

Solos and Ensombles:

We also encourage the usage of a variety of vocal, instrumental solos and ensembles.  Solos and Ensembles are by invitation only, but those with personal interest or suggestions may contact the Director of Music.

Preschool Choir:

Music education is offered through our Music Makers to three-, four-, and five-year old preschoolers on Wednesday at 6:00 pm. Preschoolers are challenged to learn from a variety of musical experiences.

Children's Music:

Children's Music is integrated into the TeamKID program on Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m.

Youth Performing Arts:

Bayside's youth participate in a variety of musical activities including Youth Choir, Mime, and Youth Drama, Clowns.
