What are Groups?
A group typically consists of 8-12 people. Groups meet weekly. One task of a group is to connect God’s Word to the details of everyday life. Groups that meet on Sunday mornings are called Sunday School Groups. Groups that meet at other times are called Small Groups or Study Groups.
What happens at a Group meeting?
Groups are places where we help each other grow in our knowledge of Christ, faith in Christ, character conformed to Christ, and actions patterned after Christ. A group is where you can be known, loved, and cared for at Bayside.
Where do Groups meet?
Groups meet inside and outside the church building.
Is there childcare available for Small Groups and Study Groups?
Childcare varies by group. When searching our listing for a group, the profile will indicate if there is childcare available.
What if I don’t like the first Group I try?
The truth is, not everyone will find the best fit with the first group they try. Try a couple different groups before choosing the best one for you. The simple strategy to finding success in a group is to not give up. We believe there is a group that is right for everyone – including you!
