The Preschool and Children’s Ministries desire that every child:

  1. Learn About God
  2. Know the Bible
  3. Live for Jesus

Our programs are designed to lay a foundation of faith, as children grow and develop into the unique individuals God intends them to be. We pray that you and your children will SEE Christ in all that we do through our Safe, Engaging, and Excellent ministry environment.

Preschoolers and Children are invited to participate in AWANA. AWANA stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed, taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. In this program, children will enjoy Bible lesson teachings, games, scripture memorization, and other fun activities. AWANA provides the opportunity for children to grow their relationship with God by committing His Word to memory.

AWANA Clubs:
Puggles: 2 – 3 year olds
Cubbies: 4 – Pre-Kindergarten
Sparks: Kindergarten – 2nd grade
T&T: 3rd – 5th grade

Nursery care is available for children under 2 who have a parent serving in a volunteer role or attending a ministry or bible study program at Bayside Baptist Church during AWANA. Parents who have a child in the nursery or Awana Preschool Aged-Club must remain inside the Bayside Baptist Church facilities for the duration of the AWANA program.

We take the safety and well-being of all children very seriously. Adults serving with our children have been screened carefully with appropriate background checks and are loving and professional. We respect and rejoice in the fact that every child is a gift from the Lord.
