Bayside Baptist Church’s mission is to glorify God by helping people to follow Christ Jesus together. We are a group of disciples making disciples. The purpose of Discipleship ‘N Community is to do just that! Our Wednesday evening activities are focused on growing in Christ with each other by building relationships in discipleship and community.
September – May is broken into 3 semesters: Fall (10 sessions), Winter (9 sessions), and Spring (9 sessions).
Each Wednesday our church family has the opportunity to build community at our Fellowship Dinners (5:00 – 6:00pm). Following dinner, discipleship classes will run from 6:15 – 7:15pm. Various classes are offered each semester for adults of all ages. Students in grades 6-12 also have small group classes. During this time, our TeamKID ministry is offered for kids ages 3 years – 5th grade.
Serving opportunities are available for dinners and in our Preschool, Children, and Student ministries. Childcare for ages 2 years and under is available for anyone serving or participating in a class.
ADULT CLASSES – Spring Semester 2020
Beginning March 25. To register, please complete the form below.
The Old Testament: The Law
Led by Pastor John
This class is an overview of the Old Testament scriptures; spending 1-2 weeks in each book. See what these writings teach us about God, ourselves, and how they point to Christ.
Sacred Parenting
Led by John and Judy Weibley
The journey of caring for, rearing, training, and loving our children profoundly alters us forever…even when the journey is sometimes a rough one. This is not a “how-to” book that teaches readers the ways to discipline their kids or help them achieve their full potential. Instead of a discussion about how parents change their children, Sacred Parenting turns the tables and demonstrates how God uses children to change their parents.
Ladies: Discovering Hope in the Psalms
Led by Women’s Ministry
Ladies of all ages are invited to study the Psalms. Each chapter ladies will dive deep into the hope of God’s Word. In addition to the study, ladies will also participate in community and fellowship activities.

TeamKID is a fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and grow in a relationship with Him. Every part of TeamKID – Bible study, Bible verses, life application, and recreation – all connect to teach life lessons to kids. TeamKID is designed so children learn Biblical principles and develop skills that will help them grow closer to God. Printed registration forms are available at the Welcome Center!
Adults are invited to join the fun by helping lead games, Bible study, and lesson activities. Help us disciple the next generation to know, trust, and follow Jesus.
